So often when we come to Christmas, we jump into the joy of celebrating the birth of our Savior and neglect to properly reflect on our need for a Savior in the first place.  Though we have the clarity of hindsight when looking at the birth of Jesus, for centuries it was a promise shrouded in mystery.  We look at the very first promise of our Savior and learn some very important turths about Christmas.
